Two people, one kitchen table

The person you met on site is rarely the only one who decides. This cadence gets the quote in front of both of them, at the hour they are both home, without sounding like a sales sequence.

Use it when.

  • The quote is over $5,000 and it is for a home.
  • You met one person on site and heard "I have to talk to my husband" or "my wife" or "my mother".
  • There are options to compare, like Good, Better and Best, or a panel with or without a car charger circuit.

    One last email that says plainly how long the price holds.

What not to do.

  • Do not send the day 2 email at 7:30 in the morning. It gets read alone, on a phone, by one of the two.
  • Do not ask "any updates?" Ask what is still undecided. It gets an answer.
  • Do not drop the price in a follow-up. If price is the problem, they will tell you, and a revision is better than a discount text.
