The bid with a PO behind it
A commercial bid waits on people you never meet: purchasing, a property manager, an owner in another city. This cadence is mostly email, asks one useful question by phone, and says plainly when the price stops holding.

Use it when.
- The quote goes to a company, not a household.
- There is a proof, a drawing or a spec to approve before anyone signs.
- Material prices could move before the bid is accepted.
The cadence, word for word.

- Day 7Call task · 10:00Call Teodor. Ask who else is reviewing and when they decide. Note the PO process on the quote.
The one call that matters: who else reviews, and when.
- Day 14Email · 8:00Subject: Bid 001051 is good until Fri, Oct 30 Hello Teodor, A short note that bid 001051 is good until Fri, Oct 30. After that, aluminum and LED prices may change the total. q.carbonset.example/1051 Frank
The valid-until date, said once, plainly.
What not to do.
- Do not text a purchasing department. Email and one phone call.
- Do not let a bid sit open past its date. Expire it, and send a revised bid if they come back.
- Do not send three contacts three different revisions. Keep everyone on the same link.
Trades that use it.
