Everyone sits down, every shift. It is usually chicken. Nobody complains.
Tips are pooled
Kitchen and floor share them, counted in the open on Sundays.
Two days off together
Mondays for everyone, plus one more that does not move around.
A bird to take home
Sundays, for whoever closed. Bread too, if there is any left.

Line cook, rotisserie
Run the spits and the drip tray at the original room.
$24 to 28 an hour, plus tips
- Truss, season and load the birds
- Keep the fire: oak in the morning, cherry before service
- Carve to order at the pass
Full time · Turnspit Northport
Catering lead and driver
Load the van, set the table, bring it all home.
$26 an hour, plus gratuities
- Pack and check every order against the sheet
- Set up on site and brief the host
- Clean New York driving record
Seasonal · Turnspit Greenport
Server
Lunch and dinner by the ferry, May to October.
Tipped, about $34 an hour in season
- Six-table section
- Know the specials board by eleven
- Weekends are part of it
