Getting here
Look for the green door and the lit window.
Tallow Lane is a short brick lane off the village's main street. Ours is the first door, under the lantern. There is no sign, only the window.
- On foot
- Two minutes from the village green. The lane is lit but narrow, so cars cannot stop outside.
- By car
- Street parking on the main street is free after six. The municipal lot behind Gristmill Row is a three-minute walk.
- By train
- Huntington station on the Port Jefferson branch, then about seven minutes by taxi into the village.
- Access
- One step at the door. A ramp lives behind the bar and is out in under a minute: knock on the window. The booths, the long table and the washroom are all on one level.
- Dogs
- Welcome at the bar until six. After that it gets too crowded to be fair to them.
