HOW A JOB RUNS HERE

Welding, step by step.

  1. 01Fixture

Parts are clamped to a fixture built for the part, so every one in the lot welds the same.

  2. 02Sequence

Stitch welds alternate side to side to keep heat from pulling the part.

  3. 03Plate

Every weldment is checked flat on the surface plate before it goes to finish.

DESIGN RULES THAT SAVE MONEY

Three changes that lower the price.

01Design self-locating tabs

Tab and slot, 0.010 in clearance

Parts locate themselves, so there is less fixture to build.

02Keep welds off finished faces

Weld the inside corner, not the show face

No grinding on a face the customer sees.

03Call out only the welds you need

Stitch where a seam is not needed

Less heat, less distortion, less time.
