What this site keeps, and for how long.
What happens to your contact details and your drawings when you send an RFQ.
Sample policy for a fictional business
What an RFQ collects
Your name, company, email, phone if you give it, the parts and quantities you list, your notes, and the files you attach. We use them to price and make your parts, and for nothing else.
Drawings and models
Files are stored encrypted on our quoting system. They are opened by the estimator and, once you place an order, by the people who program and inspect your parts. They are never shared outside the shop except with a finishing partner named on your quote, and then only the drawing they need.
Under an NDA
If you ask for one on the RFQ, we send our mutual NDA and sign it first. Nobody opens your files until both signatures are on it.
How long we keep it
RFQs and drawings that never became an order are deleted 24 months after your last activity. Records for parts we shipped are kept as long as the order requires, so a lot can be traced.
Cookies and analytics
