Sample policy for a fictional business
Quotes
Quotes are valid 30 days. Ship dates hold 2 business days after the quote; after that we recheck the queue. Each line bills at least $150 for programming and setup.
Orders
A purchase order or an approval in the portal accepts the quote. The drawing at the revision named on the order governs what we make and how we inspect it.
Delivery
FOB Hauppauge. Our truck runs Nassau, Suffolk and Queens on Tuesdays and Thursdays: free on orders of $500 or more, $85 under. Everywhere else ships ground freight, collect or prepaid.
Payment
Net 30 on approved credit. First orders ship on prepayment while credit is set up.
Rejections and remakes
Report a part outside a tolerance on the drawing within 30 days of receipt. We remake it at our cost, pay the freight both ways, and send the root cause within 2 business days.
Tooling and programs
Programs, fixtures and nests we build for your part stay on file under your revision. Fixtures you paid for as a separate line are yours, and we ship them to you on request.
Liability and law
Our liability is limited to the price of the affected parts. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
