HOW A JOB RUNS HERE

Laser cutting, step by step.

  1. 01Nest

Your parts share a sheet with others in the same grade and thickness. The nest prints with the traveler.

  2. 02First sheet

The first part off the sheet is checked against the print with calipers and pin gauges.

  3. 03Break out

Parts come off the skeleton, get their lot tag and go through the wide-belt deburr.

DESIGN RULES THAT SAVE MONEY

Three changes that lower the price.

01Holes at least 1 × thickness

0.125 in sheet: 0.125 in hole minimum

Smaller holes burn out of round; we would drill them as a second step.

02Slots at least 1.5 × thickness wide

0.250 in plate: 0.375 in slot

Narrow slots trap heat and close up at the bottom.

03Nest-friendly outer shapes

Straight edges where they can be

Parts that share a cut line use less sheet and cost less.
