Revision letter
On the print and in the file name. We build to the revision on the quote, not the one in an old email.
Material and thickness
Grade and temper, for example 5052-H32 at 0.125 in. Or say "per drawing" and we read it from the title block.
Finish and spec
Powder color, anodize type and class, or mill. A spec number beats a description.
Quantity and releases
The lot you would order now, and the annual number if it repeats. Price breaks fall at 10, 50 and 250.
Tolerances that matter
Flag the two or three that drive fit. Everything else holds the title block default, ±0.010 in.
Paperwork with the parts
Material certs and a C of C ship with every lot. Ask here for a first article or a dimensional report.
