Behavior consult

60 min$220Dog room 1 or 2Dr. Maren or Dr. Ellis

Sixty minutes in the quiet room with Dr. Ellis. We go through the questionnaire and your videos, watch your dog, and write a plan in small steps. Fear at the vet, reactivity, and handling problems are the most common reasons.

What happens

  1. Sixty minutes in the quiet room (dogs) or the cat ward (cats).
  2. A questionnaire before the visit, and videos from home if you have them.
  3. A written plan with small steps, and a two-week check-in by message.
  4. Pre-visit calming medication, discussed if it would help.

Questions

Is this training?

No. It is a medical visit first. We look for pain or illness behind the behavior, then give you a plan. We can suggest trainers if you want one.

Will my pet need medication?

Not always. If medication would help your pet learn, we discuss it, with the price, before anything is prescribed.
