The cat ward is an exam room and eight recovery cubbies behind one door. It has its own air return, so it does not smell like dogs, and the lights dim to a level most cats tolerate.
Most exams happen on the padded bench or in the bottom half of the carrier, whichever your cat prefers. Cats who stay for a dental cleaning recover in a cubby with a hiding box and a towel from home, and Kwame checks on them until pick-up.
