Sample policy for a fictional business
1. Booking and cancelling
Change or cancel up to 24 hours ahead at no charge. Inside 24 hours, also no charge the first time. After that, a $35 late-cancel fee.
2. Prices and estimates
The prices on this site are ranges. You get a written estimate before anything beyond the exam. If the plan changes in the room, we stop and ask before we go on.
3. Payment
Payment is due at the visit, by card or cash. Home visits for goodbyes are billed afterwards, never on the day.
4. Wellness plans
Plans are twelve monthly payments for prevention. They are not insurance. Cancel any time; if you used more than you paid, we bill the difference at list price.
5. Guides and the visit finder
Our guides and “Where does it hurt?” are general information, not a diagnosis. If you are not sure, call. We would rather you ask.
6. Emergencies
We are not a 24-hour hospital. After 9 pm, call (631) 555-0163 and a licensed technician will tell you where to go.
