CARE GUIDE 01 OF 04
Stoneware: use it every day.
Plates, bowls, cups and mugs go in the dishwasher.

01
What it is.
Clay fired to cone 10, around 2,345°F, until it’s dense and doesn’t take in water. The glaze is glass, fused to the body.
02
Every day.
Plates, bowls, mugs and cups go in the dishwasher on a normal cycle. Vessels, jars and anything with a bare rim: hand wash. All of it is fine in the microwave.
03
Once in a while.
Grey lines from cutlery come off with a paste of baking soda and water.
04
Don’t.
Don’t move it from the fridge into a hot oven, and don’t put it on a burner. Plates and bowls go in the oven to 450°F, starting cold.
05
If something goes wrong.
Send a photo. A small chip on a rim we can grind and re-fire with your next order. A crack is the end of it, and we’ll take it back for the reclaim bucket.
