Terms of Service

1. Appointments

When you book online we hold a two-hour arrival window for you. If we are running late we will text or call. If you need to cancel or move a visit, please tell us at least two hours ahead so we can offer the window to someone else.

2. Prices and Payment

A service call has a diagnostic fee, which is waived for maintenance plan members. Repairs are priced from our flat-rate book. Your technician shows you the price and you approve it before any work begins.

Payment is due when the work is finished, by card or check. There is no deposit to book a repair.

3. Estimates

Estimates for new systems are free and in writing. An estimate is good for 30 days. It lists the equipment, the work included and anything that could change the price. Work begins only after you sign the estimate.

4. Our Workmanship

We guarantee our repair labor for one year and our installation labor for two years. Equipment and parts carry their manufacturers’ warranties, which we register for you. If something we fixed is not right, call us and we will come back.

5. Maintenance Plans

A plan covers the tune-ups listed for it and the member benefits described on the plans page. Plans run for one year and renew unless you cancel. You can cancel any time; if you have not had a visit that year, we refund the unused months.

6. Emergencies

If you smell gas or a carbon monoxide alarm is sounding, leave the building and call 911 or your gas utility first. Our website, online booking and chat assistant are not monitored for emergencies. For urgent no-heat calls, please phone us.

7. Using This Website

The information on this site is general. It is not a substitute for a technician looking at your equipment. The safe checks we describe are meant for homeowners; anything beyond them should be left to a licensed professional.
