What a Tune-Up Includes
The same checklist every time, with the readings written on your service record.
Heating Tune-Up
- Clean the burner and check the flame
- Replace the nozzle and oil filter, or clean the gas burners
- Test combustion and carbon monoxide
- Check the flue, draft and chimney connection
- Test safety controls and the emergency switch
- Check circulators, zone valves and the expansion tank
- Replace or clean the air filter
- Write every reading on your service record
Cooling Tune-Up
- Clean the outdoor coil
- Check refrigerant pressures and temperatures
- Test the capacitor and contactor
- Flush the condensate drain
- Clean the indoor coil where it can be reached
- Check the blower and airflow
- Tighten electrical connections
- Check the thermostat and settings

Plan Questions
When do you schedule the visits?
We call or text you in early fall for heating and in spring for cooling, and you pick a two-hour window. You do not have to remember.
Can I pay monthly?
Yes. Any plan can be paid monthly at no extra cost.
Do you cover systems you did not install?
Yes. We do a first visit to make sure the system is in serviceable condition, and after that it is covered like any other.
Can I cancel?
Any time. If you have not had a visit that year, we refund the unused months.
